TitleWhat items are included in the quote, and how is it calculated?2025-04-23 21:19

Here’s how we build your quote step by step:

  1. Package Size & Local Delivery
Based on your request, we contact the Hong Kong or China-based seller to confirm the final parcel’s weight and dimensions after packaging.
We also check whether local delivery within China is free or paid, and include this in the invoice accordingly.

  2. International Shipping Fees
Using the confirmed weight and volume, we calculate the air shipping costs for both legs:

    • China → Korea

    • Korea → U.S.
These shipping charges are reflected in your quote.

  3. Korean Customs Duty
If the item value exceeds $150, Korean import duties may apply.
If the total is under $150, no duty is charged — and nothing is added to your invoice for customs.

  4. Currency Exchange Calculation
The final product cost is first calculated in Chinese yuan or Hong Kong dollars based on the seller’s pricing.
Then it is converted to U.S. dollars using the exchange rate at the time of receiving the funds via bank wire.

  5. Service Fees & Handling Costs

    • Agency Fee: 10% of the product price

    • Customs Clearance Handling Fee (Korea): $5 flat

    • WISE Transfer Fee: applied as needed

Please note that for small transactions, payment platform fees (e.g. WISE $8 fee) can be higher than our actual agency fee (e.g., $15 on a $150 order).
We kindly ask for your understanding — our pricing is structured to ensure transparent costs without hidden markups.
